About Employability Centre in Alappuzha, kollam, Kottayam, Ernakulam, Kannur, Palakkad, Kozhikode, Palakkad

Government of Kerala through Directorate of Employment and Training & Kerala Academy for Skills Excellence (KASE), the Skill Development Mission of the State of Kerala, has set up Employability Centres besides the Employment Exchanges in the State. The core objective of employability centres are identifying employment opportunities and providing placements suited to the profile of candidates.
The process in the Employability centre starts from the registration. Once the registration is
completed, an assessment test is conducted through well developed software to assess
their IQ level, skill set, reasoning ability, language skill, communication skill and overall
personality. Once the assessment is over, the score sheet of the candidate is disclosed to
the candidate. Based on the scoring sheet, the candidate is either directly referred to the
jobs available suited to their profile or referred for basic/ high end training programme. For
high-end course, the candidate is referred to VTPs (Vocational Training Providers), ITIs or
other institutions based on the skills required. Advance Training is provided as per the
requirement of the employer. The outcome of training is placement of the trainees. Employability centres also conduct various job drives within and outside the centres. This
serves as a platform for various industries to absorb suitable candidates.
