About Gorkha Youth and Students' Association of India - GYASA in New Delhi, New Delhi

"GYASA is an apolitical organization, which stands for Gorkha Youth and Students Association. GYASA is initiated by like-minded Gorkha youth based in Delhi. However, its aim is to reach all parts of the country and to promote Gorkha youth and student’s interest in the fields of academics, sports, jobs etc. It aim is also to connect all the Gorkhas from across the country with the belief of Gorkhalism, respecting each other culture, religion and moral values.

As being a non-government organization this body has become a successful “civil society” in influencing the government and other non-government agencies. Moreover, its objective is to ensure security on the grounds of racial discrimination and questioning human rights violation of the Gorkhas living in the all parts of India.

GYASA are generously supported by Gorkha individuals, institution and organizations from Assam, Arunachal Pradesh, Dehradun, Darjeeling, Delhi, Gurgaon, Himachal Pradesh, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mumbai, Noida, Pune, Sikkim and other parts of the country.
