Mooting is a superior mode of learning, practicing and perfecting advocacy. Being a fictitious debate simulating arguments on various points of law before eminent judges. It is perhaps the closest experience that a law student can have whilst at university in appearing before court. It enhances the argumentative abilities, court etiquette, court crafting skills and art of distinguishing the relevant from the periphery of the law students. It helps to build confidence in public speaking, general research and presentation skills benefiting every student in all facets of the legal profession.
