About Department of Tourism, Hotel, Hospitality & Heritage -Jamia Millia Islamia in Department of Tourism, Hotel, Hospitality and Heritage Studies, Jamia Millia Islamia, Jamia Nagar,, New Delhi

The Department of Tourism, Hotel, Hospitality and Heritage Studies was established in the year 2012 and has been providing quality education in the field of Hospitality and Tourism since the time of its inception. With the help of the University Grants Commission (UGC) and the Ministry of HRD, the Department has taken giant steps in the field of Tourism and Hospitality education.

With the strength of almost 500 students at present, the Department is conducting various programmes of study including B.A. (Hons.) HMTT, Diploma and Certificate courses in Tourism and Travel Management. Tourism and Hospitality courses are also offered to the students of B.A. Programme and B.A. (Hons.) of other disciplines.

From the current session- 2017, the Department has broadened its student’s academic horizons and has introduced three new programmes of study – 4-year Bachelor of Tourism and Travel Management (BTTM), 4-year Bachelor of Hotel Management (BHM) and 2-year Master of Tourism and Travel Management (MTTM).
