About Fada-Auto Summit in 805, Surya Kiran, 19, Kasturba Gandhi Marg, New Delhi

The Federation of Automobile Dealers Associations (FADA) is an apex national body representing Automobile Dealers of India. It was founded in 1964 by four regional Auto Trade Associations to protect and promote the Indian retail automobile market. It is now a registered body under the Companies Act 1956.

FADA’s largest and most prestigious biennial event, Auto Summit 2014 on the theme “ AUTO RETAIL – SURVIVAL MANTRA” is scheduled for 7th & 8th February 2014 at Hotel Le Meridien, New Delhi.

The Summit is being organized in association with SIAM. The theme assumes an added significance in the backdrop of volatility and cyclic recession witnessed periodically. Scrapping through the worst global recession post-Lehman collapse, in seven decades, virtually unscathed, India is the second fast growing auto market in the world after China. However, the experience has shown the market encounters periodic bumps and rough terrain, suggesting that it is not a smooth drive all the way.

The theme: “AUTO RETAIL – SURVIVAL MANTRA” aptly reflects the current difficult situation.
