About Kumaon Retreat in Village Paniyali, Padampuri, Nainital
Nestled in the Kumaon range of the Himalayas - just a few kilometres from Bhimtal, and far-far away from the humdrum of city life, is Kumaon Retreat.The perfect getaway, or the perfect hideaway as many lovingly call it, the estate is a leisurely 30 minute hike from the road head. Hidden amidst deep pine forest, frequented by wildlife such as leopards and hyenas, Kumaon Retreat is the perfect destination for adventure seeking travellers, couples, photographers and writers.
Designed with a focus on maintaining natural harmony with its surrounding Pine forest, the cottages use use natural clay, wood and stone in its contemporary yet simple villa accommodation.
Accommodation:
+ One large villa with two luxurious bedrooms, dedicated washrooms, a well equipped living room, a fully functional kitchen and dining area, bunk beds for kids and a wooden patio for relaxation.
+ One independent villa with a luxurious bedroom, a dedicated washroom, and an outdoor patio.
Services: Complete meals, (please do let us know your requirements before you travel as the cottage is situated in a remote location and its not possible to run to the market for any unplanned needs), local guides, cooks, porters, barbecue.
Recreation: Trekking/hiking, bird watching, photography, cycling
