Apni Shala collaborates with government and low-fee schools and works towards the social and emotional development of children.

We help children learn to make better decisions and life choices, work in teams, respect differences among each other, develop empathy for others, understand their own strengths and be the best they can!

We use stories and drama and films and games as tools to engage children in experiential learning.

We also help teachers find it within them to nurture a classroom environment that support social and emotional learning!

Apni Shala dreams of a day when all schools, through their education programme, offer opportunities for such 'life skills development'.
