In the past we have completed projects for UNICEF to identify scholastic backwardness among 1800 children studying in schools run by the Municipal Corporation of Greater Bombay (MCGB) and provided counselling and remedial educational interventions for them. We have conducted intensive teacher-training programmes on child mental health for 200 MCGB as well as mainstream school teachers. Through the financial support of our donors, we have even provided our services to children and families from lower income groups.

Since January, 2007, we have partnered with The Live Love Laugh Foundation to implement their 'You are NOT Alone' School Program for students and teachers to promote awareness of depression and prevent suicide.

At IEC, we believe that each individual has a right to psychological wellbeing and hence, should not be denied service due to genuine inability to pay. We believe in promoting the cause of ‘Mental Health for All’.

Therefore, we use a sliding scale for fee structure and offer our services to children, adolescents and families of middle as well as low socio-economic backgrounds.
