About Madhyamgram Municipality in Sodepur Road, Madhyamgram

This is a community page for citizen of Madhyamgram, managed privately. Madhyamgram Municipality has had taken a pledge to ensure basic minimum needs to all the citizens of this Municipal area and to make all round development both social and economic. To this end in view we are going to introduce solid waste Management project to make a clean and Pollution free environment. In order to provide safe drinking water we have already made a proposal for Trans Municipal water supply Project. To combat the natural disaster there is an NSG Hub at Badu Road. A Fire Service Station in Madhyamgram is under consideration of the Government. This Municipality has also taken an initiative for sports Development activities and an age-oriented Football Coaching Centre has already been started at Basunagar. This activities will be introduced in some areas of this Municipality, so that young generation can take advantage of the facility of Sport activities. A Tagore Culture Centre has also been proposed to establish here to promote cultural activities and to encourage the people of Madhyamgram to nurture their cultural traits. To encourage the meritorious as well as poor students of this Municipal area, We arrange felicitation programs in all the wards and in the Municipality itself and also try to give some financial assistance to poor students if situation demands.
