Vani Sweets was established in the year 2007 as an offshoot of our grocery business ‘Vani General Stores,’ which has been in active and successful business for well over sixty years. Our ghee business is nearly one hundred and twenty years old and is known for our product’s purity, richness and taste. Traditionally our ghee was in use in almost every household across Machlipatnam and the neighbouring areas.

As the chief family businesses, Vani Ghee and Vani General Stores have held considerable hold in the local and allied markets and the very mention of the name ‘Vani,’ breathes trust even today. The success of these twin businesses subsequently became the source of motivation to foray into the Indian domestic sweet business by our founder Shri. Pallapothu Dhanalakshmi Chandra Shekhar Rao, more popularly known as Bujji Garu.

Vani Sweets within an amazingly short period drew instant attention and captivated the tastes of the public in town, and the stores was witness to hordes of people flocking to buy its sweets putting our production line continuously on its toes. This incredible public trust and support since our inception strengthens us even to this day and we have since become a household name.

The soul of Vani Sweets is its dedication to uncompromising quality which has won tremendous recognition within our district and the surrounding locales. Infrastructure

The infrastructure of Vani Sweets is on par with the most premium organisations in the field. Consisting of well laid out modern kitchens in a spacious, extensive and well ventilated workshop area, our production unit integrates several facilities and is segregated into separate sections for different Indian sweets such as traditional Andhra sweets, South Indian sweets,North Indian, Dry Fruit sweets, Pure Gheee sweets, Khoya Sweets and Bengali sweets. A separate Savoury section is an integral part of the production line.

Our production area is an array of kitchens distinctly spaced and well laid out with ergonomically designed table tops and work surfaces, centralized fuel supply, traditional wood and husk fired ranges for exclusive products and separate assembling and packaging sections. The working chambers are well planned with high roofs and exhaust systems which minimize worker stress and encourage higher productivity.

Stores

All our raw material and finished produce is stored under utmost safety conditions in temperature controlled and food holding systems. Our store is well planned with adequate storage racks and refrigeration systems and adopts accurate and industry recognized storage practices which minimize any kind of infestation or product deterioration.


Process

Our raw materials and ingredients are sourced from well known and trusted suppliers who have years of credibility as their backup. This ensures that only high quality ingredients find their place into our products. Still the goods are put through a thorough pre-inspection process and once declared free of any contaminants, they are routed to the stores where they await distribution to the production area.

Since the possibility of contamination still arises during and post production, the finished products are further tested under laboratory conditions for purity and any possible fresh contamination by experienced bacteriologists. Upon declaration of their readiness, the products are then ready for packaging and dispatch.


Staff

At the soul of our enterprise is the tireless effort of scores of skilled workers, expert cooks, traditional halwais, confectioners and culinarians. They carry with them considerable sweet and savoury production experience accrued over the years, with some of the best known sweet houses in the country.

All our staff are diligently chosen from a stream of well experienced thoroughbred professionals from across India. They are put through rigorous testing not just for product knowledge and preparation but also for their operational methods and safety practices.

In addition to their skills that our experts bring along, they are subjected to periodical in house training to acquaint them with modern technology, scientific processes, food and personal hygiene, and essential safety practices and procedures.

Our showroom staff have thorough exposure to handling a wide range of customer requirements and are in continuous communication with the workshop manager for quick deliveries and special requests.
