About Himalayan Luxury Bivouacs in Shey, Leh

We would like to introduce our resort Himalayan Luxury Bivouacs, Leh-Ladakh. We serve luxury with high class facilities at an altitude of more than 10,000 ft. in The Himalayas by a very different concept of the Luxury Bivouacs in India. Each Himalayan Luxury Bivouac is built in an area of 700 sq.ft with fully furnished antique handcrafted furniture and equipped restrooms and lawns. Blended perfectly with Sheesham, Teak wood furniture, handmade tussle silk curtains, chrome fitting in bathroom, making a perfect blend of aesthetic & elegant class. We also have a separate concrete structure of 3300 sq.ft. for Reception & Dining.

It is an Exquisite property situated on the banks of river Indus amidst the famous Rancho School(3 Idiots) & Thiksey Monestary.

Shey is the ancient castle of the Kingdom of Ladakh.

LADAKH
Ladakh, under Karakoram, in the trans – Himalayan region of Kashmir, a remote region of broad and valleys set about the peaks that rise to 20,000 ft. It lies in the rain shadow areas, water shed in the sere land of wind, high cold desert, and rumors sun.
Ladakh for the past one thousand years has been an enclave of Tibetan Buddhism and Islam in West. By the result of a long process at least three distinct peoples, two of which are of Aryan Stock, and the other one is of Mongolian Origin.

The Ladakhi’s attitude to life and death – seems to be based on an intuitive understanding of impermanence and a consequent lack of attachment. They are blessed with an ability to actively welcome things as they are.

A vast plateau of crests in warm roof of the world and varied tones from rust to place green. Above snowy peaks reach toward a still, blue sky, below sheer walls of wine red scree fall to stark lunar valleys.
Fields of barely appear, fringed with wild flowers and herb and the clear water of glacial streams. Everything is barren; each step you take sends up a cloud of sand and dust. Yet as your eyes begin to comprehend what they see, brilliant green oases come into focus set like emeralds skin desert.
