The institute has been established by “Geeta Educational Trust” to develop world class technology, management and general education. The institute has well-planned campus. The Institute has most modern administrative and academic blocks, workshop block, central library, conference hall, seminar hall, lecture theatres, tutorial rooms, mini-auditorium etc. The Institute has also created world class infrastructure in terms of laboratory and workshops for providing appropriate learning experiences to the students. GIMT is ideally located in a pollution free environment, adjacent to the city Kurukshetra - “ A reminiscent of the Holy past Land of Bhagwat Geeta”. Kurukshetra is well known city in Northern India.

SAEINDIA GIMT Collegiate club was formed by Er. Ishbir Singh(H.O.D of Mechanical Branch in Geeta Institute of Management and Technology) under the banner of SAEINDIA which itself comes in india in 2003 under the agesis of SAE International, Who gave an opportunities to all the students of Institute to Enhance their Practical Knowledge.He made a Seperate lab for this club for tha sake of sll the members SAEINDIA GIMT Collegiate Club who can perform Workshops or Minor and Major Projects at the lab and gave the opportunities to the students so that they can perform well in Interviews.
