This place is nestled admist a apple orchard, over looking the snow clad ranges of the Pir Panjal mountains and the Satluj valley at village Kotgarh, Himachal Pradesh. Kotgarh is 78 kms from Shimla. Kotgarh is famous for its apple and cherry plantations. Apple was bought to Kotgarh by an American missionary Mr Samuel Stokes, who settled here. The legacy and family traditions have been passed on though generations. Vinay is the great grandson of Mr Samuel stokes. He today with his wife Veena run Grandma Stokes Bed and Breakfast.
