Kozhikode District Co-operative Bank (KDC Bank) is the Apex Organization for all co-operative institution in Kozhikode District. The Bank was Setup in 1917 as Malabar District Co-operative Bank and registered under Section 9 of Co-operative Societies Act II of 1912 (India) with area of operation in Malabar District of Madras State. The Bank was renamed as Malabar Central Co-operative Bank (MCC Bank) in 1958. In the year 1985 Bank was again renamed as The Kozhikode District Co-operative Bank (Better known as KDC Bank).
