About Xaverian Academy for Dance and Music(XADAM) in Room no. 205, St Xavier's College, 30 Park Street, Kolkata

XADAM the students wing of SXC Cultural Association is a performing arts body participating actively in various cultural events inside and outside the college throughout the year. The students of XADAM, under the able guidance of the Cultural Director of the college Mrs. Sujata Pakrashi Lahiri have won numerous critical acclaims and appreciation from the press, celebrities and reputed contemporary artistes. XADAM actively promotes the various disciplines of our rich cultural heritage, from Classical Dances, Contemporary Dances, Folk Dances, Rabindra Nriyta, along with Hindustani Classical recitals, Rabindra Sangeet, Najrulgeeti. It also strives for building a collage between cross cultural dance forms through contemporary innovative presentations.
