About East Kolkata Cultural Organization EKCO in 208, S.K.Deb Road, P.O. Sreebhumi, Kolkata

East Kolkata Cultural Organization is a committed Theater Group working with utmost efficacy to stage plays of eminent writers. Based in Shreebhumi North Kolkata this group is regularly working with new plays and innovations with yearly Birthday Celebration of Kobi Guru and Kazi Nazrul, different social work and attending several call shows.

EKCO in short also invite eminent Theatre groups from West Bengal to stage at Mukto Mancho in Lake Town. Idea of Mukto Natok devised by director of EKCO Shri Dhananjay Adhya and Editor Shri Nirmal Sikdar who are patron and pioneer of the group created on 24th Aug, 2005. EKCO is celebrating its 11th Birthday in 2016 and all the members are united and committed happily exploring their inner strength Ekco always tried to explore.
