About Natanam Kolkata - Dance and dance research organization in 40E/3 Anupama Housing Complex, VIP Road, Kolkata

Natanam Kolkata, as a social service organization, is active for the last twenty five years. It was registered as a Society under the Societies Act more than seventeen years ago. From its inception, Natanam Kolkata has been rendering continuous services to the locality towards its betterment. Art and Culture, Education, Women Empowerment and uplifting of the socio-economically weaker section of the society has always been the focus of Natanam Kolkata.

One of Natanam Kolkata's mission has been to provide low cost / free of cost dance schools. Currently Natanam Kolkata has three branches of it's dance school spread across three locations of North Kolkata. One of those branches is currently providing free of cost dance classes to it's students, and contributes half of the total students of the organization.

Natanam Kolkata is also involved in professional dance productions. The professional dance group has staged numerous shows, which includes performances like 'Amar Ontoratma Ami', 'Kobita O Gaane Nrityer Proyog', 'Mor Sandhayay Tumi Sundara Beshe Esecho', 'Ek Sutre Badiyachi Sohosro Mon', 'Raaglahari', 'Khelaghar', 'Choteder Nazrul', 'Gitgovindam', 'Austanayekaveda' etc.

Natanam Kolkata also maintains a specialized library of dance books and is actively involved in dance related researches and publication of research books.
