INDIAN SCHOOL OF COMPLEMENTARY THERAPY & ALLIED SCIENCES (ISCTAS) is a Non Profitable, Autonomous society providing education, training & treatment. The institution is an initiative of ICHAPUR SHREE KRISHNA SOCIETY of CHARITY & PEACE (ISKSC&P), registered under The West Bengal Society Act No: XXVI of 1961 (Govt. of West Bengal), based on Central Government Act. XXI of 1860 and Literary & Scientific Institutions Act 1854. ISCTAS is a professional organization in West Bengal, India, which accredits Institutions, Organizations and Individuals for conducting particular course(s), specializing in the domain of Complementary Medicine Systems and its associated Sciences for betterment of the Country and its People.
ISCMAS is envisioned to be a primer knowledge institution pursuing human resource development activities in the domain of Complementary Medicine Systems & associated Sciences and strictly maintain the quality standards of the curriculum. The council aims in establishing standard qualification and recognition of the Complementary Medicine Systems and Paramedical Sciences in India. The council does not compromises with the quality of education and training at both the organization and individual level who are under its guidance. The objective of the council is to generate genuinely qualified man power in the area of Complementary Medicine Systems and its associated scientific domains at national level by utilizing facilities and infrastructures available with institutions, organization or individuals in mainly non-formal sector (Non-Government).
In case of utilizing facilities and infrastructures of government organization, Original Legal Permission letter and No Objection Certificate from the respective Ministry (Central/State) and their associated Government Officials, respective Medical Councils and/or associated autonomous governing societies / accreditation grants commission is mandatory. This society by no means interferes with the proceedings and guidelines made by the UGC/AICTE/Central/State Councils or Councils directly under regulation of Govt. of India.
