About Department of Agrochemicals and Pest Management in Shivaji University, Kolhapur

It is now accepted that along with the teaching of conventional courses of pure sciences, the graduates must get training in technology oriented and interdisciplinary subjects and application aspects. Shivaji University in its thirties has undertaken such a venture and as the beginning of a new era, a postgraduate M.Sc. course in Agrochemicals and Pest Management which has been introduced from June 1993 in the School of Applied Sciences, In addition to this, the University has also started M.phil, Ph.D.courses under the said subject, so that enventional research is oriented towards application.
