S.N.S Hostel, Cochin is a home away from home for many in Kerala. S.N.S Hostel is a group of hostels in Kochi. The chain is spread across four main locations in Kochi, namely; Sadhanam Road, near Finearts hall , Ammankovil Road and near KSRTC bus stand.
S.N.S Hostel is an organized facility providing accommodation for both men and women. The facility is run by Mr.Sabu K V. He founded the chain of hostels in the year 1995.
S.N.S Hostel is a well-equipped hostel, apt for both students and working men and women. The hostels separately consider the needs of both classes. For working men and women, the hostel allows for flexible timing and has other special provisions, while for students, the hostel provides a calm and silent atmosphere where they can study properly without noise and distractions. There are separate study halls and reading rooms available for students. Newspaper and magazines are available on demand.
Food served at the chain of hostels is of highest standard. S.N.S Hostel understands the need for nourishing food at all times and hires the best of hands to provide for the same. The food materials are carefully sourced from reputed shops, cleaned and prepared under hygienic conditions. Food is cooked in homely fashion. Meals are served four times a day along with provision for availing tea and snacks. On demand, milk, hot water and medicines are available.
The rooms at S.N.S Hostel are spacious and comfortable. They are designed keeping in mind the needs of the growing generation. 24-hour power supply along with multiple power sockets for easy use are provided in all rooms. Each room comes with a cupboard for storage, a desk and a chair, along with bed arrangement as per the room plan. Four-sharing, three-sharing, two-sharing and single room accommodation is available. All rooms are sufficiently lighted up and ventilated.
Bathrooms are well-maintained with regular cleaning. There are bath-attached rooms and common bathrooms also.
The hostel has sufficient water supply throughout the year. Fresh water is available for drinking. The hostel has wash areas to wash and dry clothes. There are open terraces and sufficiently ventilated corridors to provide fresh air circulations to the inmates.
Rent and rates are fixed on room basis. Mess bills are additional.
S.N.S Hostel adheres to strict civil standards and regulation. Security is on guard throughout the day, keeping the compound safe. Visitors are allowed on request during a specified visiting time. S.N.S Hostels also have a small garden in which the inmates can sit and relax.
