About UDAAN a mega school event in kanpur institute of technology, Kanpur

Anveshan is the perfect ambiance to showcase one’s technical skills and creative talents. A number of informative and fun filled programmes were organized in the series, to extract the hidden talents in the school students thereby providing them with a professional ambiance, which they are likely to face in their future. Its main aim was to nurture the ideas that come forth in the spirit of healthy competition. Anveshan’13, organized on 29th and 30th Jan 2013 was the initiative taken by ‘CyberSrishti-a society for CSE-IT department’. The two day event was geeky, and at the same time it was fun. With the idea of making technology fun and with the tag line “revealing dreams”, Anveshan rolled on 29th of January, thereby provided students with a chance to bring out their competitive side amongst their daily routine. ANVESHAN was acknowledged to be a unique opportunity for the school students to show case themselves and their capabilities.
Anveshan’13, began on 29th January 2013 with the aim of “Reveling Dreams”. The event began with the lamp lightening by our honorable Director Sir, Anil Sir, Dean Academic Welfare, Dean Skill development cell, Dean Student Welfare and Patron CyberSrishti.
Opening Ceremony was marked by the inauguration of CyberSrishti’s Newsletter-CyberNetics. Our Newsletter’s inaugration highlighted the academic and other activities of department, it served as mirror for our department reflecting clearly the department’s achievement, its glory, which motivated our students and faculty to continue with their untiring efforts for the upliftment of the department.
The participants of Anveshan’13, were highly motivated after listening to the inspirational words from our respected Director Sir who inspired the schools to participate in as many activities as they can without having the fear of winning or losing. He asked the participants to enjoy the competitions that they were likely to face in few moments. He encouraged them to have a healthy competitions along with the sportsman spirit. The enthusiasm with which participants were filled on hearing such an motivational speech was soon reflected by the level of competition we witnessed.
Beginning of Day two of Anveshan’13,was influenced by the tough competition that we all witnessed on day one. The footfall of second day was greater as compared to day one. The Campus was covered all over by the school students. It was pleasure to have a unique glimpse of a uncommon blend of college ad school students under one roof.
We were highly obliged when the school representative of OmkarNathDhawan Inter College shared his two days experience with us. They were highly please that their school students participated in Anveshan’13 and were provided with such a platform to showcase their talent. He highly appreciated the arrangements of Anveshan’13 and KIT. They were excited to participate next year also
Not only the school representatives, but our participants also experienced a great venture as Described by shailanshu Bora of KDMA. They said that the competition level that they faced in Anveshan’13 was really very high and they enjoyed a lot in competing with their competitors.
Followed by the Prize Distribution ceremony for the winners of Various Events and Felicitation ceremony for the School representatives, as they took pain in bringing their school teams to participate in Anveshan’13 and devoted their valuable time for us, we had a “VRAKSHROPAN CEREMONY” which marked the ending of Anveshan’13.
