About Uddan A- society in vivek vihar, Itanagar

The name of the society shall be called “UDDAN”- A SOCIETY FOR SOCIO-ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT OF ORPHAN, WIDOW & OLD AGE and shall be abbreviated as ‘USFSEDOWOA’. And shall here after in the memorandum of organization and Rules and regulation, be referred to is a residential centre and to promote education, health, socio-economic development of underprivileged orphan children, widow, and old age.

AIMS, OBJECTS AND PURPOSE:
The Aims, objects and purposes for the “UDDAN”- A SOCIETY FOR SOCIO ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT OF ORPHAN, WIDOW & OLD AGE” shall be:-broad objective of complete care and management of the besides to promote social, economical, educational, health, rehabilitation, moral, cultural, nutrition, including adult and children with rest of the other member of the society.
The USFSEDOWOA shall undertake following activities:-
I.To help the helpless, hopeless and hungry orphan children and semi orphan children widow & old age with the free food, free shelter, free education, free medical assistance etc, irrespective of caste, creed and class and religion and race.
II.To provide a place for orphan children widow & old age in need of care, love and protection.
III.To support the poor, aged and deprived in their education and health needs.
IV.To start and run free educational institutions in general technical, professional and vocational educational for the benefit of scheduled tribes, backward class and poor people irrespective of caste, creed religion class and race where it is felt necessary.
V.To encourage ‘SFSEDOWOA’ in self employment sector.
vi. To ensure protection and safety of ‘USFSEDOWOA’ in situation of risk – including armed conflict, natural disaster and humanitarian emergency.
vii. To provide equal recognisation before law; access justice and information; freedom from torture, inhuman treatment, exploitation, violence, abuse, expression, opinion; protect liberty, security and integrity and respect to the inherent dignity of ‘socio-economic development of orphan, widow & old age’.
viii. To promote awareness on ‘SEDOWOA’ and the contribution of different ‘SEDOWOA’ personality in society at different capacity.
ix. To receive government grant, aid and help in all form and extend cooperation to government scheme and project on ‘SEDOWOA’ sector.
x. To coordinate, cooperate, affiliate and tie-up with other organization which are performing similar activities in and outside the state.
xi. To encourage material, financial and other kind of help to ‘SEDOWOA’ candidate in health, education, social, economic, legal sector etc.
x. To provide the orphans, widow & old age and needy people with a caring, loving and secure family environment, where basic needs for, health, clothing, shelter and education are met squarely.
