Shilpa Architects since 1990, founded by Architect Vishnu Vandana, has its main offices in Hyderabad. The practice works internationally and nationally providing full architecture, master-planning, interior design, hotels and resorts, space planning and landscaping services for public, private commercial and residential sectors. It also provides art work and paintings for clients.

The principal architect Vishnu Vandana worked in middle east for a decade doing projects at Dubai, Bahrain, Kuwait, Sharjah. The practice has approximately 20 current projects in India.

Shilpa Architects is multilingual and multicultural, employing staff from many regions - The practice aims to integrate architecture with surrounding landscape and nature with responsibility to the voice of the inhabitants and clients. The principal architect has an in depth knowledge of ancient Indian science of architecture called Vastu-sastra, having done a thesis on this, which is called upon for clients with creative imagination and a connection with roots.
