Jaali is a special dessert from Hyderabad (India). The Badam ki jali and Ashrafi are both made from Marzipan which is made from almond meal and sugar. Badam ki jali’s made into different shapes and cut into patterns for special occasions/orders.

The sweet Ashrafi is made from marzipan but putting in between of two moulds that have the same inscription of the Nizam’s gold coins. The sides are cut and smoothened.
