About Jana Solar in Belgachia, Howrah

Jana Solar was established in 2015. Today JANA SOLAR has developed expertise to execute complete Solar PV Power plants project including Design, Engineering, Supply, I&C and Maintenance on turn-key basis for both Stand-alone and Grid Connected PV Systems from conceptualization to completion for ratings from few Watts to Kilowatt capacity as per International Standard.
Joydip Jana is the founder of Jana Solar. He is a Solar Energy Professional & working in the field of Grid Integration of Renewable Energy, Smart Microgrid. He pursued his B.Tech from Asansol Engineering College and M.Tech from The University of Burdwan and currently is doing his PhD in Indian Institute of Engineering Science & Technology (IIEST), Shibpur, West Bengal, India and working in a project “Advanced Research on Thin Film Silicon Solar Cell & PV Systems” funded by Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE) of Govt. of India. The project includes design, development and field testing of MPPT based high efficiency inverters and grid synchronizing system components used in grid interactive roof top PV systems and design, field-testing and performance evaluation of BIPV system. He has worked with RRCAT, a centre of Bhaba Atomic Research Centre (BARC), Govt. of India for setting up a Fast Feedback Control System using FPGA for RF Signals in the particle accelerator installed in RRCAT, Indore in his M.Tech project duration. He successfully designed, developed & installed solar system in Electric Rickshaw application first in India in the year 2015. He founded this company in the year 2015 and currently holding the position of Managing Director in this company.
