About Stepping Stone School, Rishra in 89/90/I,, Hooghly

A multi disciplined English Medium Co-Educational School has long been in the asking in this part of the district. A few like-minded people sat together and agreed upon to found a school which would cater to the scholastic demands of the local inhabitants. With this objective in view, the school came into being in the year 1991. Initially the idea was to synthesise the school into an ideal prep.school; but the process registered by the students attending the school impressed the guardians to such an extent that they started mounting pressure upon the management to upgrade the school into a full-fledged secondary school. The management honouring the sentiments of the guardians finally obtained the School affiliation with the Council, New Delhi for the Indian Certificate of Secondary Education (I.C.S.E.) examinations with effect from 2004.
