Globalization has come to India in the last few years but as far as creativity in any visual art form is concerned we stand in global space. It is our responsibility to understand the global context. You can call it a responsibility or a liability, it’s essential to know what has gone on and what’s going on in the world of photography. So that youthfull energy is well directed and explored to it’s maximum.

It will be an institute to promote photography in the right direction. Both in people aspiring to be professionals or serious amateurs.

The Centre will be running various photography courses, from a 3 month basic course, 5 months advance course, a one year diploma to a 3 year degree programme. The Centre will also be conducting workshops, and running a photography club. It will hold photography exhibitions of senior master photographers as well as young professionals doing exceptional work in Photography. The Centre will be promoting photography as an art form.

It is going to be the only school of photography of it’s kind where young minds will have access to the photographic works and books of master photographers in portraiture, landscape, documentary, abstract and fine art and Fashion photography done in the last one and half centuries.

After the 1st semester, the Centre will invite reputed foreign photographers from Magnum Photos and other agencies, including curators and artists to interact and put forth their perceptions and vision.

The advisory panel will consist of experts from various creative fields like artists, painters and writers. They will also interact with young minds to give students the larger perspective into creativity and fine art.

The Centre will tie up with reputed schools and museums in Europe and America.
