Zaitoon, meaning olive, is a mix of spicy and refreshing Middle Eastern cuisine, for those that are seeking food with a distinctive and exotic taste.
Arab cuisine is fast gaining popularity here in India. Generically it is referred to as Lebanese food, but comprises the foods out of all the countries in the Middle East. The emphasis on freshness and quality has attracted many who seek to try this exotic and interesting cuisine comprising of appetizers such as hummus, Tabouleh, Fatoosh, Babaganoush and Falafel served with pita bread. Zaitoon seeks to give Shawarma in two different ways; one is the normal way which is in a roll, other in a pocket of pita bread something which is different, the Arab style roast chicken in full or half portion. We have other dishes also such as Shish kebabs on BBQ grill and Arayes (pita bread with mince meat). Iraqi dishes such as Dijaj Basrawi and Dijaj Baghdadi (grilled chicken) in two different varieties, Reash (Mutton Chops) marinated in Arab herbs giving the authentic touch something that the customers have never tasted or experienced. Zaitoon would also be serving typical authentic sweet dishes such as Basboosa (semolina cake) and Um Ali (bread pudding).
