In modern times iconic painter like ‘Mahasundari Devi’ the winner of prestigious ‘Padma Shri’ award from government of India in 2011, for her contribution to ‘art. She was a living legend of paintings and its varied forms. She truly represented ‘Madhubani Paintings’ and her last painting as per her family statement is way back in 2011. She died in 4 July 2013.
