An Institute of Interior Designing (NIID) approved by IIDS (The North-east India Interior Design Society) evolved in Guwahati owing to massive queries that stood forth us in terms of Interior Designing and Fashion Designing as a career option. Looking at the immense number of talent in the North-East Region, NIID vowed with commitment and responsibility showed its presence to explore talent out of young creative minds and give a new dimension to the designing industry. Our interior course offers a balance between tradition art and design skills and state of the art computer technology. It has been develop to prepare students for numerous careers in interior design and related areas including residential and commercial design. It focuses on the areas where there are career opportunities. And our fashion course offers a balance between traditional and modern designs. It focus on the areas where there are career opportunities and build up realistic, practical experience on fashion designing industry and a real life exposer for the trainee candidates.
