About Sikkim Psychological Services in Deorali, Gangtok

Note: SPS is currently in hibernation because the psychologists at SPS are out of town for further training in this field.

Sikkim Psychological Services (SPS) was founded on 20th September, 2013 by
T. Palzom (M.Sc. Clinical Psychology) and P. Dewan (M.Sc. Counseling Psychology) as a means of creating awareness about psychological issues in Sikkim.

The core mission at SPS is to bring together trained psychologists and counselors in order to promote quality care and treatment of psychological problems in the state. There is also a need to focus on debunking myths and misconceptions about psychology and mental health in general.

In April, 2014, we teamed up with Mr. Arun Awasthy (Chief Coordinator of PARTH) and he will be coordinating the activities and media relations of Sikkim Psychological Services as our Manager.
