About Rtambhara in , Ernakulam

Rtambhara (RIPVA) is intrinsically a cultural forum for the promotion of performing arts and to create physical and cultural awareness as well as mental and emotional well being for the society. While on one side, the forum adheres to the traditional values of the ancient dance form like Bharatanatyam, it also encourages creativity through other mediums of expression like Western Contemporary Dance, Martial arts and many others. To achieve the objectives, regular classes, workshops, and lecture demonstration are being conducted in Western Contemporary Dance and also in Bharathanatyam.
Theoretical discussions are conducted by scholars in Traditional art, Natyasastra, Folk theater as well as Western Contemporary Dance and techniques and their socio-cultural relevance and advantages in the Indian context.
