Anitha Issac is a name to reckon with in the culinary circles in Kerala. She started off over 25 years ago, armed with a passion for cooking and a degree in home science. Today, she runs a successful cookery school that offers training to a cross-section of women in a variety of cuisines, including baking and confectionary. While she takes orders for special occasions like birthdays, weddings and festivals, her primary focus is on Manna - The Cookery School, based in Kochi, Kerala.

Anitha Issac’s cookery school, Angelina, was re-christened Manna - The Cookery School in the year 2011. Manna offers short-term and long-term cooking classes for students, homemakers, working professionals (both women and men), and even kids. Exclusive classes are also held for those who need elementary skills in cooking and for men who need ‘survival cooking skills’. Brides-to-be, who wish to gain expertise in hosting and cooking for parties, are also trained at Manna. The school also offers expert level training, especially in cake-making, cake art and desserts. Manna – The Cookery School believes in encouraging women to come out of their shells; giving them wings to fly, helping them achieve their dreams and to feel empowered.
