About Us

Vista Motors started off on 1st of February, 2005 as a Service and Parts dealer of Volvo Trucks and Volvo Buses for the South Indian state of Kerala. Our First Service Center at Kalamassery, Cochin was inagurated on 21st February,2005 by Mr.Berndt Jakobsson, Vice President after sales, Volvo India & Mr. Akash Passey, Vice President, Volvo Bus-South Asia. Later in July, 2006 the company was entrusted with the additional responsilility for the state of Tamilnadu. Since its inception in 2005 the company was going at a fast pace and increased its business more than ten-folds in a short span of 8 years.

In 2012 march 16th, Vista opened its flagship Service Center in Chennai, which is the first Volvo Bus Center In India. In the same year on 19th of December Vista added another feather to its crown by opening its second fully-fledged Service Center and Corporate office at Chandiroor, Kochi, Kerala. Beside these two workshops Vista is supporting customers at various locations such as Trivandrum, Palakkad, Coimbature, Salem, Pondicherry spread across Tamilnadu, Pondicherry and Kerala.

Since its inception as Volvo Truck and Bus dealer, Vista received many awards and recognitions from principals. In 2011 two teams from Vista came top in the nationwide technical competition and represented India in Asia Pacific semifinals held at Sydney. In 2012, Chennai bus centre secured the highest score in Volvo dealer operating standards. In the same year we got the prestigious Award for Business Excellence from VECV as recognition for demonstrating Volvo's high standard of customer satisfaction in after market services.

Our sister concern Vista Marine & Hydraulics was also formed in 2005. Vista Marine is the dealership of Volvo Penta Marine and Industrial engines. Volvo Penta is part of Volvo AB, Sweden, which is a 100 year old company. Volvo Penta is the world leader in marine leisure and high performance engines and drives manufacturing. Vista Marine takes care of Volvo PENTA Marine and Industrial Engines Sales, Service and Spare Parts Business for the State of Kerala and Lakshadeep islands exclusively. Vista Marine support Tamil Nadu customers as well.
