Eldho Pachilakadan- a fruitarian, architect, farmer, naturalist, artist and free-thinker had an epiphany few years back while he was on a butterfly survey somewhere deep inside the Western Ghat forests.

From bees to birds, ants to elephants; every other creature around us get their food from nature and stays healthy while we survive on processed foods and food like products.

When did we start altering our food?

What would we eat if fire wasn’t invented yet?

These questions circled around Eldho even when he came back home. He began experimenting with whatever he could get directly from nature. This has evolved in to Primate, India’s first raw food restaurant.

We have blended the best of both worlds and
created few contemporary dishes that are
healthy and absolutely tasty.

The key ingredients of our dishes are fruits, vegetables, sprouts, micro greens, roots, nuts, spices, honey, jaggery and sea salt while excluding
meat, dairy products, grains, sugar, processed oils, chemicals and table salt.

We are starting off with just a handful of dishes as of now. We will include more items on the menu after getting your feedback and suggestions.
