Vasant Murdeshwar Cricket Academy (Regd.) is one of those very few oldest cricket coaching institutes of Karnataka established by Shri. Vasant Murdeshwar, popular for training sound techniques since past 32 years

We would also like to bring in your kind notice that, though we are been the most popular and oldest Cricket coaching fraternity, training kids since 1986.We stand at the top of Cricket Coaching Clubs for Juniors in the region.

The Institute is working very hard to develop and enhance the cricketing culture in the youngsters of not just Hubli-Dharwad but whole of North Karnataka for such a prolonged time. The academy boasts of producing 3 Ranji Trophy Cricketers Namely Anand Katti(Currently Serving as State Junior Team Selection Committee Member) Somashekahar Shiraguppi (Woked as Assistant Coach of Karnataka Ranji team and National Cricket Academy ) and the recent Debutant Pavan Deshpande who scored match saving 70 Runs when the team was in trouble. Apart from these, VMCA has produced more than 100 state Cricketers in Junior Level including Samarth Ooty (Currently part of Karnataka 'A' team) ,Likhit Bannur (Currently part of Karnataka U-19 team) followed By Sudhanwa Kulkarni, Akshay Hiremath and Aditya Shyanubhog who have established themselves well at Junior level of State Cricket and marching forward to enter the professional arena.
