About Tree of Life Holistics in Ward 5, Gumru, Dharmshala (Dharamshala)

‘Tree of Life Holistics’ came into being in 2008. We are based near Bagsu in the Himalayas, just to the north of Dharamshala, Himachal Pradesh. We were at that time the first pure vegetarian, non-smoking health food restaurant in that area and quickly became well-known, respected and recommended. We also established ‘Tree House’, a healing centre and guest-house.
We are Ajay Kumar from the Kangra Valley and Josie Devi from North Devon in the UK. We met in Goa in 2006 and married in 2009. Earlier this year (2016), we decided to move a little further down the mountain from McLeodganj, the spiritual home of the Dalai Lama and for the exiled Tibetan community. We now reside in a beautiful detached two-storey building in the peaceful village of Gumru, not far from Dharamshala, where we run our Homestay and Airbnb business for travellers from all over the world throughout the year.
‘Tree of Life Holistics’ is such a lovely, homely, safe place to stay, with exquisite views of the mountains and the vast plain below.
