Friends of Rural Development (FORD) is a voluntary organization, registered in year 2007 . It is working in the field of empowering the underprivileged section of the society, i.e. the SC, ST, the OBCs, and the economically weaker section of population with special attention to the women and the children.

It is run by COLONEL Sudarshan Singh Chaudhari and Mrs. Sushma Chaudhari .The society aims at developing the society but without any conditions or boundaries.

This society pursues his father ,Lt. Shree Raghunath Singh Chaudhari’s dream of making good quality education available to the underprivledged.Shree R.S. Chaudhari himself was a very well reputed teacher in MUMBAI who spent his later years in developing the backward areas of Garhwal teaching students and adults.
