About Hema Negi Karasi
Hema Negi is a famous Uttarakhandi folk singer. She specializes in jagar and traditional Himalaya folk and promotes traditional folk across the India. She was born on 5th, March 1986 in a village named Tukhida (Agastmuni), in the district of Chamoli, Uttarakhand. She has done many stage show to promote traditional culture in India and other countries. Uttarakhand traditional culture is very rich culture and she has sung lots of old songs with latest music beats and instruments.
Hema Negi Karasi get more help from her mother during her childhood and sung the Mangal geet of Nanda Devi. She is has released many albums so far with her sweet voice along with traditional dance. She has been awarded by the many societies in India and other countries as well for her best performance towards to Uttarakhand culture.
She is running a music company called H.N Films where she has committed herself to do more for Uttarakhand culture and save the traditional culture. Also she is working on some of new projects where more traditional culture would come out in front of folk music lovers.
