About Ravenshaw Radio 90.4 MHz in Ravenshaw University, Cuttack

Ravenshaw Radio is the Voice of Ravenshaw University. It was launched on April 14, 2011 on the occasion of Utkal Divas.

Ravenshaw Radio gained much momentum, meteoric rise, and media attention with some events like "Voice of Ravenshaw" singing competition and a couple of live broadcasts (commentaries) of Rath Yatra and a cricket match played at Cuttack.

Ravenshaw Radio's focus is mainly on the 10,000-odd students of Ravenshaw University, who form the immediate audience. Students are given a platform to express themselves in the form of poetry recitation, debate and singing. Ravenshaw Radio also offers career counseling to the students through a programme named ‘Career Concern’. Besides, it is also trying to cover the local community (the denizens of Cuttack) who come under the coverage zone.

Ravenshaw Radio is also trying its best to cover the local community, apart from the students of Ravenshaw University. It is also striving to improve the quality of the programmes and expand the listener base.
