About Sri Sri University Agri-Business Club in Sri Sri University, Cuttack

#MBA Agribusiness is a flagship programme at Sri Sri University. The prime objectives of the course are; to evolve alternative perspectives to understand the principles and analyze the factors affecting Agri-business in India; to manage the transformation of rural economy and contribution to the Agribusiness in developing economies, to build social entrepreneurial skills and leadership collaboration with reputed Agriculture institutions in India and abroad

This programme is not only restricted to four walls of class rooms, but a perfect blend of industry exposure, case studies, mentoring from industry experts and rural engagement. We connect farmers with agri-scientists, agri-business houses by organizing workshops, seminars and exhibitions at frequent intervals. It’s the responsibility of each student to apply the theories taught in the class room for the betterment of the farming community through input linkage, technology linkage and market linkage.

Some of the innovative initiatives at ABM department of SSU are SriSriAgribition, which is a platform to connect farmers with agri-scientists, SriMandi – an electronic market place for farmers and buyers for agri-commodities, AgriGLS – through which CEOs around the globe share their experience with students, SriCulture – promotes Organic Agriculture among farming community.
