About Marriage Simplified in Triplicane, Chennai

First of all a warm welcome to my official home page. I entered into this field in the year 1968 and learnt cooking from my gurunadhar Mr.Ramalingam Iyer . Since then, catering industry had underwent lot of periodic changes with upward growth in terms of respect and recognition.

I still remember my early days, where we use to carry vessels and go to various villages to cook for any sort of occasions. During 80’s there were only few kalyana mandapams in Chennai like “Devakottai house” now which is AVM charities rajeshwari at R.K.salai, Sowmiya baunglow now called as Hemamalini at avvai shanmugam salai, Nalvazhvu kalyana mandapam in Royapettah, Abeswari kalyana mandapam which is now the hotel Park Hayatt in mount road.

In the late 80’s and early 90’s we started undertaking total contract instead of doing only labour contract work. I did my first total wedding contract work for 18000 rupees (now its unimaginable right !!!) Those days neither the expectation nor the competition was this high. Only minimum number of items will be made and served but with good quality. Items like Bombaykaja,mogan dhall,pista cake,Jeera poli,Dhangar pachadi,makmal poori were people favorites in those days menu. Nowadays wide variety of items like north Indian dishes, Kerala dishes in addition to our own food recipes are available so that customers can choose their own menu. Now I am feeling so happy and fulfilled to do 2nd generation wedding as well (i.e) , to the sons or daughters of my yesteryear catering customers.

Currently I have been elected as President to Tamilnadu state level catering association TSKMS.

Despite of so much of hard work I have put all these years, its been a good successful journey only because of support from my dear customers, workers, well wishers and family members. I firmly believe that only the quality of service which my company has delivered all these years has made us to sustain in this industry till date. Our primary motto is to deliver quality work with high end professionalism. We are not yet another catering service provider, we are driven by values and not by money.

We would like to expand the scope of our catering services by venturing into corporate catering. In furtherance of that, company has been incorporated as a private limited one person company,with my son Karthikeyan being the sole director of the company.
