UTHAREEYAM, a non-profitable cultural organization, aimed at promoting the performing classical art forms of Kerala like Kathakali, Koodiyattam, Chakyar Koothu etc. UTHAREEYAM registered as a “Society for promotion of classical performing arts” by the government of Tamilnadu.

UTHAREEYAM is active in the cultural space of Chennai since three years having staged 19 performances of Kathakali, Koodiyattam, Chakyarkoothu, Nagiarkkoothu, etc.Our programmes have enjoyed a wide viewership and appreciation from the people of Chennai. Quality, and Content have been the hallmark of our events. True to our objective, our programmes have had a good mix of established and good upcoming artistes. In the process of conducting these programmes, we have also been able to honour artistes who have been recognised by the cultural fraternity and the government.
