We at Terra believe in using ingredients as the earth gives it to us...unrefined, unpolished, unbleached, unbromated, unsulphered...We also believe in giving back to the earth by going organic to the maximum.

Our intention is to make healthy options attractive to ones palate so it is not a compromise in any sense of the word. Our range of products could be called 'wholesome junk food'...as it has the wholesomeness of the unrefined, organic ingredients and all the fun of junk food!

We are a gluten free facility as well and use many nutritious, local organic millets in the place of maida/ wheat and also use organic unpolished brown rice in many baked items.We mill our own flours in-house to keep it totally gluten free.
Many of our products are vegan.
Our products are as organic as possible ranging from 90% to 100% organic depending on availability of raw materials.
We use only unrefined organic cold pressed oils, unrefined brown sugar / palm sugar.
Our products are as local as possible as we want to avoid importing raw materials in our effort to keep our operations as green as possible.

Our cooking practises are mindful and we do not use microwaves, non stick pans, plastic (we store only in Stainless Steel bins) etc. and aim to eliminate toxicity in terms of the utensils and methods.

We do not use any artificial colours, flavours, additives, preservatives of any kind in any of our foods.

We attempt to be as green as we can in terms of
•having a small organic garden for herbs and small plants,
•composting,
•using local raw materials as far as possible and not importing ingredients.
•using unbleached paper for packing,
•minimizing use of plastic packaging to only where unavoidable,
•using found material/ used items for our furniture
•using "waste" building materials like broken tiles, store reject materials for our store/ kitchen.
•using natural materials like bamboo, stone etc, in our building.
•handing out carry bags made of newspapers, fabric waste bits, etc.
•eliminating use of all chemicals in terms of housekeeping, washing utensils, etc
