About GHSOSA George Higher Secondary School Vishnupuram Old Students Association in 3.Telegraphs Colony,Nanganallur South, Chennai

" George Higher Secondary School Vishnupuram Old Students Association [ GHOSA ]was formed on 17th Mar'13 at a meeting held at Varasiddhi Vinayagar Koil Pravachana Mandapam Hindu Colony,Nanganallur ,Chennai Dr.MAM.Tajudeen as President, K.S.Muthuramalingam as Secretary and Dr.M.AruI Jothi as Joint Secretary & A.Narayanamurthy as Treasurer were elected.

The Association is planning to help in improving standards of the School, arranging useful some job oriented Vocational Training to the Students and also to participate in Next year Centenary Celebrations of the School which was started in 1914 as ' GEORGE MIDDLE SCHOOL 'named after
King George V visit to India on south bank of river Arasalaru in Vishnupuram village covering five miles radius. In 1946-47 it was upgrades as 'George High School”
The objective for which the Association is established in the name of

GHSOSA are for:

I. Participation in the Annual Celebrations of the School.
II. Extending help in improving school infrastructure, Lab, Toilets etc.
III. Arranging Job Oriented Vocational Training to the Students
IV. Career Guidance for the students through Seminars and Lectures.
V. Construction of additional class rooms.
VI. To conduct sports and encourage students in sports activities VII.To do all such lawful acts as may be conducive to the objectives of the association
