St Thomas hostel goes down in the history of St Berchmans College as the 1st hostel established for its students from afar.Built in 1940 it provides splendid accomodation to the students from all over the state.The hostel has played its part in developing the morals and abilities and also in setting up a mutual relationship between each and every one of its inmates.It has also succeded in destroying the cultural barriers and personal boundaries letting its inhabitants to grow up together not as mere friends but as brothers.
