"Gita Smriti Charity Foundation" is an Non-Governmental Organisation, established by Dr. Bijay Kumar Bhattacharyya on loving memory of his wife Mrs (Late) Gita Bhattacharyya. The journey of this organisation was started from Chakdaha (West Bengal) on Mrs. Gita Bhattacharyya's 58th birth anniversary on 6th April 2012. Since the day it has adopted the motto of selfless service to the needy peoples, be it medical needs, emergency or any other social problem. Over the day it has grown up in a certain way to expand selfless service to society under the direction of Dr. Bijay Kumar Bhattacharyya and supervision of a highly efficient executive committee. Now, we are slated to be registered under West Bengal Societies Registration Act within 6th April 2014.
