Heritage of crafting BANDHANI, a beautiful attire which is full of colours, design and patterns is prosperous, especially in the city of Jamnagar. And Bandhani Studio is a part of this rich heritage, the art of Dyeing and BANDHANI is preserved in our family since 7 generations which makes Bandhani Studio a firm completely focused in production of quality BANDHANI product. It is believed that BANDHANI was initiated in our family by Mr PRADHAN, who belonged to ANJAR (Kutch) which was carried forward by his son Kareem, then by Kareem’s son, Umar and Umar’s son Ismail who used to dye khaki colour uniforms for soldiers in Kutch. Because of this our family is also known by Khakis. Ismail’s son, Ahmed who was our grandfather continued this family business in Kutch. Our father Mr USMAN AHMAD KHATRI shifted this business to Jamnagar and here he took this business to such heights whereby making us most famous in the field of dyeing. We are the only people, who specialise in dyeing fabrics with colours that reflect UV light / illuminate under UV Black lights (glow in dark) which are used in BLACK LIGHT PARTIES. We succeed in tying the heritage with diversity of India and came up with variety of new products which includes fabrics tied using Japanese technique known as SHIBORI and many other international tie dye techniques. BANDHANI IS A TYPE OF ATTIRE THAT ALLOWS THE USER TO FEEL ITS COMFORT AND ASSURED BEAUTY, many international users have left a testimony about BANDHANI adding to their beauty, fulfilling the desire of a woman to look complete and beautiful.
