About Swapnil Education Society - SES, Bhopal in , Bhopal

Swapnil Education Society (SES) was registered in the year 1994 under the Madhya Pradesh Societies Registration Act, 1973 with Registration No. 26117 dated 15/03/1994. Also approves u/s 80G & 12AA of the Income Tax Act, 1961. The Society was established with the vision, mission & objective of “Changing the World through Education”.

Our objective is to provide education to all parts of society and to promote technical education of national repute. We are working in the field of Rural Development and Capacity Building. Our recent Projects are focusing on livelihood, capacity building, skills & entrepreneurship development under various national programmes like SGSY, RSVY (BRGF). We are marking our presence with our services majorly in four states i.e. Madhya Pradesh, Chattisgarh, Bihar and Rajasthan.
SES is implementing health programme namely ASHA under NRHM in three districts of Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh. More than 3000 rural women educated on the health issues are functioning in their villages and spreading the word of awareness provider. ASHA (Accredicated Social Health Activist) is the first port of call launched to cater the health needs of rural population, especially the vulnerable sections of the society, especially women, children, old aged, sick and disabled people. It is the link between the community and the health care. Since April 2007 SES was associated in maintaining of NREGA MIS in 2 districts of Chhattisgarh and similar software. SES has a dedicated team of skilled and expert professionals who are rigorously coordinating and organising the educational and awareness trainings and programs.

WHO WE ARE?

SES is a non-profit organization working for the welfare of underprivileged section of the society in the field of Education, Healthcare and Livelihood. Most of the areas where we are working have acute poverty, lack of basic facilities, rampant unemployment.
We are an organisation that is:

•Working in partnership with Government for the formation of excluded people and civil society organizations.
•Standing with people in their struggle towards a world free of poverty, exclusion, patriarchy and injustice.
•Rooted with communities and social formations, learning from people’s actions and building on alternatives.
•Promoting a critical yet constructive engagement with the state to advance and promote peoples’ action for claiming rights.
Despite India’s spectacular economic development, thousands and millions still have to go hungry; live in most unhygienic conditions, without even basic education for their children; without any means of livelihood and die of diseases that can be prevented. What is needed is to build a strong civil society that should work in tandem with the government in making a difference in the lives of those who are in need.
