About CTE Bhawanipatna - B.Ed. College in Railway Station Road,At/Po- Paramanandapur, Bhawanipatna

The college was started throgh public enterprise from the Academic session 1982-83 as Private Teacher's Training College. It was recognised by the Govt. of Odisha and affiliated to the Sambalpur University from the Session1982-83. The college had been named as "Kalahandi Training College, Bhawaipatna."

In view of the importance of this training college in an educationally backward districts like kalahandi and Nuapada, it was a pressing demand of the public that the ruining college should be handed over to the Govt. Then Government of odisha was pleased enough to take over the management of this training college effect from 14.10.1993 and consequently a long-felt need of the district was fulfilled. At present the collge fuctions with a sanctioned strength of 50. From 7th july 2005 this Training college has been upgraded to College of Teacher Education. In the year 2014 its strength increases to 100.
